Frequently Asked Questions...

why did this happen?

The pilot bearing was completely wore out, but the input shaft bearing was fine. the plate that holds the bearing in the tranny, and has the sleeve that goes into the throw out bearing was completely back out and in the bell housing. all four bolts were backed out. I assume the pilot bearing wore out and rattled the sleeve and plate loose, but i never felt an extreme rattle. and the bolts had thread sealant. on them.

Answer:

You would only feel the rattle when you shifted . Once the clutch was ingauged the disk would be stable .

Everything That You Need Know Regarding Thread Veins

When veins near the surface of the skin enlarge and become more obvious, they are called varicose veins. This problem occurs most often in the legs, because the weight of the body puts the most pressure on this area, but they can occur anywhere. While not usually dangerous, occasionally surgery vein can lead to or be indicative of other problems.

A normal vein has a one-way valve that only allows blood to flow towards the heart. The valve prevents fluid from building up in the vein by not allowing flow in the direction of gravity. Varicose veins are the result of leaky valves that allow blood to flow in the wrong direction. This blood builds up and puts pressure on the vein walls, which then stretch into the large, visible structures seen on patients.

There are risk factors to varicose veins and they include age, heredity, pregnancy, and standing for long periods of time, such as working at a job that requires it. Excess weight is also a risk factor. All of these conditions, with the exception of heredity and age, put more pressure on the veins in your lower limbs, which can result in the valves starting to leak.

Varicose veins are usually not serious, but can occasionally occur in response to blood clots, vein abnormalities, either congenital or acquired, or tumors. When you first notice them, you should have the condition examined by a doctor to make sure that there is no serious problem. Affected veins are visible on the surface of the skin, and your doctor will look at your legs while you are standing to diagnose them. Typically, no other test is required, but if deep vein abnormalities are suspected, an ultrasound may be performed.

Treatments are both medical and home-based. Home treatments consist of elevating your legs, using compression stockings, losing weight if you need to, and staying off your feet. Exercise can improve the circulation and thus your problem with varicose veins, so biking, walking, swimming and otherwise being active are recommended. If you are at a high risk of developing this problem, you can employ these treatments as preventative measures.

Medical treatments include surgical removal of the affected veins, laser treatments, radio frequency treatments and sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is the use of an injectable chemical into the affected veins, which scar and close up. It is best used on small veins. Laser and radio frequency treatments both also scar the veins until they close, but can be used effectively on larger problem veins. The largest veins usually require surgical excision.

Once your doctor has confirmed that your varicose veins are not caused by any serious problem, watchful waiting is usually prescribed. If the problem doesn't cause you discomfort, home treatments are probably adequate. Call your doctor if bleeding over the veins occurs, sores develop, or your leg becomes swollen and painful. These could indicate potentially serious problems.

Because varicose veins can be unsightly as well as potentially problematic, some people opt to have them removed even if they are experiencing no symptoms. But since the problem results from leaky valves, the issue can occur in different veins after the originally affected ones are removed. If you have varicose veins removed, following the preventative measures outlined by your doctor at the Nori Michigan vein clinic can help keep them from recurring.
