Heated or Non-Heated - Which Type is for You?
There are two types of carpet cleaners: heated and non-heated. All carpet shampooers require the pre-application of a carpet cleaning solution. Then additional solution may be used in the solution tank, if desired. For the best and safest results, consider a green, non-toxic, readily biodegradable carpet cleaning chemicals from a reputable supplier.
Water Utilization
Pressure levels and water storage are important for determining the effectiveness of the carpet cleaner. Pressure levels are generally between 60 and 500 psi. If you want to undertake large scale, industrial cleaning, opt for devices with large solution and recovery tanks.

This has two advantages: first, you do not have to worry about the availability of water, and second, drying time is reduced to as little as one hour.
