Fractional Reserve Banking and the decline of the western civlilzation by Jeff Cape
Originally, I wanted to call the title of this article "You're all going to pass away broke", but my wife talked me out of it. Fractional Reserve Banking is the method by which we create our money and it is the biggest scam you have ever seen. If you understand this fictitious means of creating money, you can safeguard yourself when this system will fall, as it must.
This system actually came to being in 16th century England, when a person would give some gold to Ye Olde Goldsmithee. Ye Olde Goldsmithee would give a peice of paper to the person saying that he had this gold held and this guy could use this as a kind of payment for other goods and services. The issue came when Ye Olde Goldsmithee would give another promissory note to someone else for the same gold that was deposited. He would lend this at an interest, hoping that the first lender would not collect on his deposit and that he could collect on his loan given to the other person. Here is where the problems began...
Fast forward several centuries to the United States and you have a structure exactly like that in England, only on a much larger scale. We have our promissory notes(paper money) backed by gold that is held in reserve, should anyone want to collect on their deposit. Then a little something called The Great Depression happens and EVERYONE runs on the bank to collect their gold. The banks can notsatisfy all the requests, because they have lent that original deposit. There is no way they can refund the notes. So what does our government do? They step in and take control of the banks and regulate how much gold someone can hold. The government takes the gold of private citizens and puts you in jail if you horde gold. Then, in all their wisdom, the government decides to take the gold standard away from our little pieces of colored paper in the 50's.
Now, we have a big poop sandwich. We have banks accepting deposits of little peices of colored paper and they are are making loans for money that they don't have. (The banks only need to keep 10% of those pieces of colored paper in reserve) Next the banks begin creating fictitious money because they are earning interest on the pieces of colored paper, creating more money that can go into the economy, (Google multiplier effect for more info). Finally we have the issue of the 2011.. tiny pieces of colored paper that are worth nothing, that we all will kill for, and no one seems to know that everything in their wallet, bank account, 401k, and stock accounts is worth nothing. The government has already tried to privatize the banks to stop a run on them. Our economic system is falling faster and faster with no end in sight. What is going to happen when the masses try to collect on their fake deposits? What is the government going to do, print more money? It seems like there is not much that can be done for this fraudulent system of money, until now.
You now have wisdom and with that you can act. If you perceive the picture that is put before you, there should be a little fear inside of you. What should you do to protect yourself? I suggest that you beginhoarding real assets; gold, silver, precious metals, that have real worth. You will want to get something the government can not steal like during the Great Depression, so I suggest Numismatic coins. These are secured by law and can not be taken by the government. Secondly, you want to make a lot of cash, quickly. The time to do it is now. If you believe what the news articles say, there is change a brewing, so you will need to protect yourself. If nothing happens to our current economic system, you will be in good standing, if not you will need those of colored paper, until society says it is not worth anything.
I do not write this to scare you, but to upset you into action. Step away from the herd and begin focusing on assets, instead of colored paper with no worth. I hope you have learned a little about the greatest scam in the history of the world. Any activity that you take is better than no activity.
